In the beginning the products were being manufactured under the Ohtsu Tire and Rubber brand, however now Falken is a stand-alone company. Falken is able to use their connections in the professional motorsports world to tweak and improve their tires for drivers in all driving situations.
Falken Tire has gained name recognition throughout the racing circle due to their success both on and off the track. Their victories in Formula Drift have helped them in the consumer high performance market. Falken Tire is also the official truck tire of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, again helping them develop their consumer Wildpeak All-terrain tire.
