Had the opportunity to chat with some owners at EV charging station on their cars and their experiences with them. Charge rates, timing, costs, how they have enjoyed or not enjoyed them so far. ![]()

The Volkswagen owner was happy with the massive incentives given as a Quebec resident. Car mileage is not been what was originally stated. So like many range anxiety pending where and how you drive. ![]()
The bmw owner loves the power and mileage has been decent for it. 10,000kms on the summer tires and they need replacement. This is well heard of as the sheer weight of these cars, plus the off the line power can eat up tires. ![]()
Charge times unlike a 5 minute gas fill up were 30-45 minutes to get to approximately 80% “full”. Rates varies this Canadian Tire location was 0.20$ higher then a Petro Canada further away. So distance and planning on where to chare and rates is important to pay attention to. ![]()
It was a good chance to keep learning on these vehicles and knowing that so far many they will be still hesitant to make the jump from gas.
